Is there a decent, inexpensive Hotel/Motel to stay the night before KSU, in Temecula?

Laura, there are a bunch. This one is about as affordable as they get and close to the start point: http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g33165-d77033-Reviews-BEST_WESTERN_Country_Inn-Temecula_California.html

Do we need to make our own reservation at Rubens or is it who ever shows up first gets dibs?
